Kituri Selous Camp

Kituri Selous Camp is a native owned Safari lodge located in Africa's largest national park - Nyerere National Park formerly called Selous game reserve in Tanzania. It is located along the banks of the famous great rufiji river. The camp currently has three gorgeous traditionally built African styled bandas as the main accommodation suite. However, camping area is also available to get even more authentic nature experience.

The location is the highlight of Kituri Selous Camp.Its because you get a fantastic view of the great Rufiji river where you can see some hippos, crocodiles and some beautiful exotic birds. While having a meal, you can sit back and enjoy all those from the veranda of your banda or from the lobby/ restaurant area. At night you can hear different animal sounds from afar whilst staying cozy in your bed. It is truly quite special.

To get to the camp, guests get a complimentary boat ride to cross the river which takes about 10 minutes from our neighbour hippo camp on the other side. This is great since you enjoy crossing the river and get to see several animals like hippos before you even arrive at the camp.
