At all our camps, except Kwara and Moremi Crossing, we take up to 6 guests per vehicle, guaranteeing each guest a window seat. With 3 rows of 3 seats, there are a total of 9 guest seats in the vehicle. At these camps, 5 or 6 guests travelling together will automatically get a private vehicle at no extra charge. The private vehicle fees are for private use of a vehicle when 4 or less guests book it exclusively. The fee is based on the number of empty seats out of 6 per vehicle – so if 1 guest requires a private vehicle – the cost is for 5 empty seats, if 2 guests the cost is 4 empty seats etc. At Kwara, we will still operate with a total of 9 guest seats, but we will take a maximum of 4 guests per vehicle. Therefore, 3 or 4 guests travelling together will automatically get a private vehicle at no extra charge as well. As such, the private vehicle fees are for private use of a vehicle when 2 or less guests book it exclusively. The fee will then be based on number of empty seats out of 4 in a vehicle - so if 1 guest requires a private vehicle, the cost is for 3 empty seats, if 2 guests the cost is 2 empty seats. At Moremi Crossing, we take 9 guests in a 9 seater vehicle. Therefore, families with children under 12 years of age do not need to book a private vehicle. Please note that private vehicles can ONLY be booked for the complete duration of a stay in camp and NOT part thereof. Therefore we price our private vehicle fees per night i.e. that is from when guests arrive in the afternoon to when they leave the next day. When booking a private vehicle, this also includes a private guide however the guide is changed at each camp and is assigned to the guests at the camp manager’s discretion.
