Morokolo is the (Setswana) name for the indigenous Num-num tree which can be found growing in and around the lodges.

 

Morokolo Safari Lodge is situated on the northern slopes of the Pilanesberg mountain range within the Black Rhino Game Reserve. Recently incorporated into the Pilanesberg National Park, the Black Rhino Game Reserve boasts one the richest diversities of African Fauna & Flora in Africa.

The ‘Big Five’ and scores of wildlife roam freely around the boutique luxury Morokolo Safari Lodge, only 2½ hours drive from Johannesburg.

Our self-catering lodges comprise either four-suites or five-suites, each with a private entertainment area. Morokolo Safari Lodge offers the ideal wildlife safari getaway destination for small families up to max 10 throughout the year.

Morokolo Safari Lodge is equipped with top-of the range 10-seater open-air private safari vehicles operated by professional game-rangers with full access to the Pilanesberg National Park.

After an amazing African safari, plunge in the crystal clear waters of our swimming pool or relax in the warm waters of the Jaccuzi while soaking up the most incredible African sunsets. Complete the day with your own boma braai or commission our chef to cook up and serve you a meal of your choice; ingredients to be supplied by you.

• Refunds for cancellation of game drive due to inclement weather.
