Mount Savannah is your home away from home – a place to kick off your shoes, unwind, and re-connect. Less than 45 minutes’ drive from central Gauteng and Pretoria and situated within the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site, Mount Savannah is the ideal base from which to discover the birthplace of humanity.

Mount Savanah is beautifully equipped for groups who can book out the entire accommodation to themselves, as well as couples and families travelling with young children (it also happens to be malaria-free) seeking an unrushed, informal holiday style. Stretch out on the main deck with a refreshing cocktail or sip a coffee in the main lounge with its convivial stone fireplace while the kids play outdoors. There’s no better way to soak up the sights of the broad valley stretching out to the horizon. You’ll soon see why sunsets are always a cause for celebration at Mount Savannah.

When it comes to meals, breakfast is served in the main dining area, with more freedom at dinner time to cook up a storm at our boma braai and communal kitchen. Side dishes are provided, so all you need to do is bring your beverages, meat, marshmallows and good company, and you’ll have yourself a grand time.
