About Rhino River Lodge
Choose from three types of accommodation that suit families, small groups and couples staying at our safari lodge in KZN - double en-suite Deluxe Rooms, Family Loft Chalets, and two private safaris houses, the Cottage (sleeps six) and Homestead (sleeps 4). All accommodation types feature air-conditioning, ceiling fans, private verandahs, mosquito nets, coffee- and tea-making facilities, and a fully-stocked minibar. The lodge accommodates a maximum of 24 people at any time.
Rate Inclusive:
- Accommodation in lodging of your selection
- Light lunch, 3 course dinner, and a full English breakfast daily (pre-set menu)
- Morning game drive with tea/coffee break in the reserve
- Afternoon game drive with 1 complimentary sundowner in the reserve
Optional Extras
- 2 hour night drive – R450.00 per adult / R350.00 per child (4 - 12years)
- 3 hour baby-sitting service – R400.00 per child (subject to nanny availability)
- 1 hour elephant connection – R580.00 per adult / R350.00 (4 - 12 years)
- Rhino dehorning – R1200.00 per adult. No children under 12 years permitted (subject to availability)

Hotel Policies
1. Safaris
* The Full Board Rates are fully inclusive of 3 meals per day and 2 game drives daily.
*Check in is at 1pm but Guests need to have arrived NO LATER than by 14h30 to participate on afternoon game drives. Unless th lodge is aware of their delay and has stipulated otherwise.
2. CHILD POLICY
*Children aged 4 - 12 years are charged 55% of the adult rate when sharing with two full paying adults. If in one room with one or in own room, then full adult rate applies .
*Children under the age of 4 years old are free of charge when sharing with two full rate adults. Please note that children u age of 4 years are not allowed on game drives. Baby pre--sitting services are available for guests at an extra charge, however do nee booked a minimum of two weeks prior to arrival. Subject to availability.
*Children aged 4 - 12 participation on game drive is at the discretion of the game ranger. If child is disruptive to or endangers guests or animals, then participation on game drive will not be allowed.
3. DEPOSITS
* A 50% Deposit is required immediately on receipt of an invoice to secure your reservation. Failure to do this will result in bookings being automatically released for resell, unless otherwise arranged with the Agency.
* Once the booking is confirmed and deposits paid, our standard cancellation policy will apply as per the below stipulated pe
* Balance payment is due 30 days prior to arrival date.
* All bookings made within 30days will require 100% immediate payment to secure.
* ALL REFUNDS INCUR A NONNEGOTIABLE R400.00 ADMINISTRATION FEE.
4.STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY .
*Cancellations will receive penalties at the following levies as well as incur a non negotiable R400.00 administration fee for ANY Refunds:
60 days (2 Months before Arrival) 25% of total price.
59 - 31 Days (7 - 4 Weeks) 50% of total price.
30 - 15 Dats (4 - 3 Weeks) 60% of total price.
Less than 14 Days (2 weeks & less)100% of total price.
