About Tulela Safari Lodge, Mondzo - Self-Catering Lodge 

Tulela is an exclusive-use safari lodge offering exceptional comfort and luxury to families and friends in a private location in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, Greater Kruger Park. Nestled beneath tall, ancient trees on a horseshoe bend of the N’tsiri River, Tulela is a place for guests to disconnect from the day-to-day and recharge in the wilderness. Celebrated for its wildlife diversity and low tourism density, Klaserie is the perfect place for a personalised and private safari experience.

Tulela Safari Lodge (fully catered lodge): Here, our guests can fully enjoy the luxury of a private chef. Accommodation consists of five luxuriously appointed suites, each equipped with Wi-Fi access and air conditioning, private viewing decks and ensuite bathrooms with outdoor showers. The lodge also has a spacious living space with a viewing deck and an outdoor swimming pool overlooking a bustling waterhole. Guests may participate in various activities such as bush sleep-out and stargazing experiences, game viewing and tailored safari programmes at an additional cost.

Children of all ages are welcome. Tulela is designed to cater for families and to make everyone feel at home. Two of the five bedrooms are interleading, ideal for parents and children. There is a selection of fun kids activities to entertain youngsters both at the lodges and out in the bush. Guests can browse an array of extra activities, such as wild dog tracking with EWT, Ground Hornbill conservation, guided star-gazing, and sound safari sessions that can be arranged specially.

RATE INCLUDES

• Exclusive use of the entire self-catering lodge which can accommodate 10 guests in four en-suite bedrooms of which one bedroom has two sets of bunk beds.
• Swimming pool with safety cover, wooden deck and firepit-style boma, indoor and outdoor dining area all overlooking the riverbed and view of the bush.
• Fully equipped kitchen and self-catering facilities to cook and braai in luxury. Firewood and ice are provided.
• Daily housekeeping service. The housekeeping staff member can also assist with food preparation if needed.
• Morning and afternoon Game Drives on an open game viewer, with guide and tracker and 7,500hectare Greater Kruger traverse. Maximum 10 guests.
• Use of the gym.

• Child minding available at an additional cost.
• Star Deck Sleepout Rate R500 per person per night.
• Klaserie Conservation Levy per person per night.
• R230 Gate Entry Fee per vehicle payable on arrival at the Reserve Gate.
• Above fees subject to change without notice by Klaserie Private Nature Reserve.
• Return road transfers available between Eastgate Airport Hoedspruit and Tulela Safari Lodge.
• Maximum 10 guests with luggage.
