About Porini Lion Camp
The award-winning, eco-friendly Porini Lion Camp offers a unique opportunity to take guided walks with Maasai Warriors and experience day and night game drives within the Olare Motorogi Conservancy – a pristine and exclusive 33,000-acre wilderness set aside for wildlife conservation and low-impact tourism. The camp adheres to strict eco-friendly and responsible eco tourism principles. There are limits on densities and every tent pays to protect 700 acres of wilderness which also helps to reduced the number of vehicles in the conservancy. The camp has a prestigious Gold Eco-rating from Eco-tourism Kenya. Porini Lion Camp – with just nine tents and one family unit – ensures guests have a genuine “away from it all” experience deep in the African bush

CHILD POLICY
8 - 16 years 1 child pays 60% of per person sharing rates when sharing with 2 adults in 1 tent & the 2 adults pay per person sharing rates each.
1 child pays 60% of per person sharing rates when sharing with 1 adult BUT the 1 adult pays full single tent rate.
2 children in own tent pay 75% of per person sharing rates each, 3rd child in same tent pays 75% of per person sharing rate.
The camp is not suitable for children under 8 years of age
PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION
PAYMENT:
A 25% deposit is required to confirm a booking and the balance due 30 days before clients arrival except in high season where balance is due 60 days before clients arrival (High season is from 20 Dec to 31 Mar & 01 Jul to 31 Oct).
CANCELLATION:
Bookings cancelled/amended up to 120 days before start of the safari incur a 25% cancellation charge
Less than 120 days and up to 60 days prior to start of the safari 35% cancellation charge
Less than 60 days but up to 30 days prior to start of the safari 50% cancellation charge.
Less than 30 days but up to 15 days prior to start of the safari 75% cancellation charge Less than 15 days or more than.
3 days prior to start of the safari 90% cancellation charge. 3 days or less before start of the safari 100% cancellation charge.
